One long video, ten shorts, zero editing time
How highlight detection, auto-captioning and cross-platform scheduling turn a single upload into a week of clips.
Short-form is how new people find you; long-form is how they stay. The problem is that feeding both means either hiring an editor for clips or spending your own evenings dragging timelines around. Repurposing is real work — which makes it automatable work.
The pipeline
- Trigger: a long video goes up. Anything over ~8 minutes on your channel starts the pipeline automatically.
- Highlight detection. The transcript is scored for clip-worthy moments — strong claims, punchlines, list items, emotional peaks. Out of 40-odd candidates, the top ten are selected for hook strength and self-containedness.
- Cutting and captions. Each moment is cut to 9:16 with the speaker framed, captions burned in using your font and style, and a hook line added where it helps.
- Scheduling. The clips are queued across TikTok, Reels and Shorts, spread over the week at your best-performing times.
Quality control without the grind
Auto-clipping tools have a reputation for picking weird moments. Two things fix it: the selection model learns from which clips you approve and reject, and — as with everything we build — there's an optional review step. Ten thumbnails in a queue; you kill the two that miss; eight ship. Three minutes instead of three hours.
What creators actually see
The honest outcome isn't "every clip goes viral" — it's volume and consistency. Ten shots on goal per video instead of zero, every single week, with your face in the feed daily. Combined with the video-to-newsletter workflow, one upload becomes a newsletter, ten clips and an SEO post — a whole distribution week from work you already did. That's the core of our creator automation services.
